Unfortunately stage 4 of the National tour that was due to be hosted at our ground has had to be cancelled.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to the club at another shoot in the future.
We will be returning to shooting from Sunday 17th May in line with the AGB guidelines that were published late on Wednesday.
All members will receive an email with details of how to proceed as the ground won’t be generally open – we’ll be open to a maximum of 10 archers at a time and advanced booking will be required.
Following recent announcements and guidance from Archery GB and the Government the committee feel compelled to follow this advice and suspend shooting at the club until further notice. This position must be adhered to by all Club Members. In the meantime we will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if the position changes.
Email from Archery GB below stating the current status:
Dear Archery Family,
In light of the government’s announcement regarding Coronavirus, Archery GB has reviewed the latest guidance provided and has made the difficult decision to postpone all archery activity across the UK for the foreseeable future, in order to reduce all non-essential contact with others. It was not an easy decision to make but our priority is the health and safety of our members, participants, volunteers and staff.
We will be running the following tournaments during 2020:
Saturday 9th May – WA 70m & H2H – Entry Form – Online Entry
Sunday 10th May – WA 1440 – Entry Form – Online Entry
Saturday 12th September – WA 70m & H2H – Entry Form – Online Entry
Sunday 13th September – WA 1440 – Entry Form – Online Entry
